The 2010 Australian University Games will be held in Perth, Western Australia from 26 September - 1 October 2010, and is expected to attract over 5,000 participants from over 40 universities throughout Australia.
31 individual and team sports will be played over five days of competition at venues in and around Perth, with UWA Sports Park in Mt Claremont being home to the Games.
The success of the Games relies heavily on the assistance and expertise of a variety of people, in particular its volunteer workforce. Approximately 300 volunteers are needed to help deliver the Games, and you can be a part of this great event by becoming an official Games volunteer.
As well as gaining valuable industry experience with Australia’s largest annual multisport event, you will have the opportunity to meet new people, engage in new experiences, develop new skills and most importantly have fun.
Games volunteers will receive a variety of benefits through their involvement with the 2010 Australian University Games. Some of these include:
