Managed by Australian University Sport (AUS), the Northern University Games was run simultaneously with two other AUS regional events, the Eastern University Games (Coffs Harbour, NSW), and the Southern University Games (Bendigo, Victoria).

The Northern University Games was held 4 - 7 July 2010 in Toowoomba, Queensland. Featuring 10 team sports, and a 4 night exclusive social program, proving an exciting time for approximately 1000 university athletes.
