Regional Events
Australian University Sport has four regional branches, AUS - north region,
AUS - south region, AUS - east region and AUS - west region. Each region
offers a comprehensive range of sporting events for student athletes.
These events consist of regional championships and regional games. The
regional games serve as qualifiying events for teams and individuals to
progress to the national games.

NORTH REGION
Australian University Sport north region, is the
lead organisation governing university sport between the 14 member
universities in Queensland, Northern Territory and northern New
South Wales. This represents an annual membership of approximately
200,000. |

AUS SOUTH REGION
Australian University Sport south region is the
lead organisation governing university sport in Victoria, Tasmania
and South Australia. It has a membership of seventeen university
campuses representing approximately 205,000 students. |

EAST REGION
Australian University Sport east region is the
lead organisation governing university sport between the thirty
member universities in New South Wales and the ACT. This represents
an annual membership of approximately 260,000 students from Coffs
Harbour (SCU) in the north and Albury / Wodonga (CSU) in the south. |

AUS WEST REGION
Australian University Sport west region is the
lead organisation governing University Sport in Western Australia.
AUS west region administers university sport between its member
universities including Curtin University, Edith Cowan University,
Murdoch University, The University of Notre Dame Australia and
The University of Western Australia representing an annual membership
of approximately 70,000 students. |
