At the end of the 2018 World University Championship (WUC) year, 213 UniRoos have competed in 21 championships in 20 cities across 17 countries, bringing home 22 medals - their largest haul of medals in a WUC year.
Most recently, Kiana Elliott (Macquarie University) secured a silver (snatch), bronze (clean and jerk) and bronze (overall) in the WUC Weightlifting in Poland. In the same country, the UniRoos Cheerleading team (represented by student-athletes from Monash University) scored silver medals in three categories – Team Pom, Team Hip Hop, and Team Jazz.
The results took the UniRoos medal tally to 22 with six gold, 10 silver and six bronze.
