Federation University shines a spotlight on mental health

In June, Federation University is taking part of The Push-Up Challenge to shine a spotlight on the number of lives lost to suicide and raise mental health awareness. Over 24 days, 3139 push-ups will be completed and fundraising completed for Movember.

Movember is an organisation that raises awareness of men's health issues such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men's suicide. Alongside The Push-Up Challenge, they also run an annual month-long event in November where people grow facial hair to fundraise for the cause's that Movember supports.


The Federation University team has currently completed 4,712 push-ups and raised $995. You can see their progress and support the team here.
