Want to take your activity to the next level? Want to engage more staff and students?
Open to UniMoves member universities, UniMoves National Challenges are held throughout the year encouraging staff and students to get moving through some friendly university rivalry.

From running months to Maxing you MOVEs, push ups, walking, cycling and more, challenges offer engagement, motivation, leader boards and some great prizes up for grabs.

How do you join a National Challenge?
National Challenges are open to staff and students of UniMoves participating universities who have joined the specific challenge. Keep an eye out on your universities socials or MOVEs app for details on how to join an upcoming challenge.

The Challenge
Six universities go head to head in four weekly challenges in October. Staff and students are taking up the challenge to get at lest 3,500 MOVEs each week.

Prizes
The champion university wins a $100 donation to a charity of your choice.
Participants reaching 3,500 MOVEs go into a weekly draw to win one of three $50 rebel vouchers


The University of Melbourne crowned winners of the 'We Like To MOVE IT' National Challenge​

Congratulations to The University of Melbourne for taking out the We Like to MOVE IT national challenge. MELB had the highest average number of participants reaching 3,500 MOVEs or more during October and not only are crowned as champions, but have won a $100 donation to a charity of their choice.
​
Well done to Charles Sturt University who came in a close second, and to all six universities who took part. Meg (CSU), Mary Lou (DEAK) and Nicola (SCU) are Week 4's $50 rebel voucher prize winners.
​
During October, 413 staff and students from Central Queensland, Charles Sturt, Federation, Deakin, Southern Cross and Melbourne universities clocked up over 983,500 MOVEs. Over 280 reached the weekly 3,500 target.

Southern Cross University are MaxMOVEs Champions!​
​
Congratulations to Southern Cross University for taking out the UniMoves MaxMOVEs challenge with a massive 635,070 moves. Local charity 'Our Kids' will receive their winning $250 charity donation.
Well done to Charles Sturt University with the highest Average Moves of 17,699 with only 18 challenge participants.
​
Deakin University was hot on the heels of Southern Cross for the majority of the challenge, and Charles Sturt and Federation Universities were in a very close battle for 3rd and 4th, but following huge efforts from all teams in the last week, Southern Cross came out champions.
​
Congratulations to Sarah (Southern Cross), Lyn (Federation), Saskia (Deakin), and Clara (Charles Sturt) who have won a $50 rebel voucher for being the highest MOVErs at each university.
During August 109 staff and students from the four universities clocked up 1,772,450 MOVEs inspiring movement and active lifestyles even while in lockdown.
What a massive effort and congratulations to all involved!
