The 2020 World University Karate Championships were to be held from 5-8 November in Brasilia, Brazil. Due to COVID-19, this event has been cancelled.

Congratulations to UniRoo Mitchell Durham on winning silver in the men's -84kg division. Other notable performances were delivered by Rebecca Sullivan, Stefan Kalajdjic and the men's Kumite team who all finished in 5th position in their respective events.
