USYD claim League of Legends pennant in battle for the ages

In an epic League of Legends showdown, The University of Auckland came from behind, beating The University of Sydney, winning the Oceania Championship in the process.

However, not all was lost by USYD who took home the pennant and are now crowned the UniSport Nationals League of Legends champions.

Versing the University of Sydney in the final, being the only Australian team all but guaranteed USYD the pennant however they were determined to win the Oceania Championship.

The University of Auckland had different ideas.

In a best of five games series, UOA came from behind to clinch the 5th and final game, etching their name in the history books.
