2021 Nationals T20 Cricket and Surfing Championships have been cancelled

UniSport Australia (UniSport) has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 Nationals T20 Cricket and Surfing Championships despite efforts to postpone the events earlier last month. Both competitions were due to be held from 9 – 12 August on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions and lockdowns currently impacting many university members across the country, the decision to cancel was made in consideration of participants being able to confirm their ability to travel to Queensland for the championships this year.

UniSport looks forward to returning to the Sunshine Coast in 2022 to deliver both championships, thanks to the support of Sunshine Coast Council and Visit Sunshine Coast. Details of new competition dates will be confirmed soon.
