readUniSport Australia (“UniSport”) has appointed Eden Ritchie Recruitment to conduct a nationwide search for its next Chief Executive Officer.
Announcing the appointment of Eden Ritchie Recruitment, UniSport Chair David Schmude said the company was selected based on its significant experience recruiting senior executives across many industry sectors.
“Earlier this year current UniSport CEO Don Knapp indicated his intention to semi-retire at the end of 2018, giving the Board ample opportunity to select an executive recruitment firm to seek out Mr Knapp’s successor,” Mr Schmude said.
Brisbane-based Eden Ritchie Recruitment was chosen following an extensive and competitive selection process from submissions by a high-quality field of the nation’s leading talent recruitment firms.
“The Board is confident Eden Ritchie Recruitment’s experience in sourcing exceptionally talented leaders will ensure Mr Knapp’s successor is found through a systematic and transparent recruitment process,” Mr Schmude continued.
Applications for the UniSport Australia Chief Executive Officer role open Friday 7 September.
