Adelaide University (AU), formed through the merger of the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia, bringing together over 180 years of history. The University spans seven campuses and enrols over 60,000 students from more than 100 countries. 

A member of the Group of Eight, Adelaide University is ranked among the Global Top 100 Universities, with strengths in wine and agricultural sciences, engineering, business and marketing, and medical and health sciences. 

Adelaide University Sport manages a range of facilities, including playing fields at Park 12, the West Beach Recreation Hub, and six on campus gyms, including the Pridham Hall 25m pool. More than 40 clubs, from eSports to Hockey to Wing Chun Kung Fu, engage students in sport in on campus sport, local community, premier and intervarsity competitions
