USYD delivered a controlled defensive performance to defeat UniSC Mari 61–45 on the Sunshine Coast.

The visitors led for 31:53, built their advantage to 17 and held UniSC to just 24.2% from two-point range and 11.1% from beyond the arc. Yvette Volk led USYD with 13 points, while Maddy Dalmeida recorded 11 points, 13 rebounds and three blocks.

Alex Oliver added six points, 10 rebounds and six assists.
