UniBank is the presenting partner of UniSport’s two biggest events, the Nationals Div 1 and Div 2 competitions.
UniBank has been actively supporting the staff and students of Australian universities since 1964. Sport plays an important part in student’s well-being, which is why in 2017, UniBank signed on as the presenting partner of the Nationals. The current agreement sees UniBank partnering with us until 2021.
"The partnership with UniSport is important as it helps us to support students from across all 42 universities to not only excel at their chosen sports but to a healthy and connected student experience on campus,” said Mike Lanzing, UniBank General Manager.
UniBank at the Nationals
UniBank is an active participant in the Nationals Div 1 and Div 2 events, providing fun ways for athletes to have some fun after their events.
Over the years, UniBank has brought us the ever popular FrisPig (throw a frisbee into a pig to win great prizes) and in 2019, they introduced the QuizPig scavenger hunt and helping hand competition. These activities give students more chances to relax, unwind and continue some friendly rivalry off of the field.
UniBank staff are present at Div 2 and Div 1 events chatting with students and getting to know their banking needs.
Responsible Banking
UniBank leads the way in helping students make smarter choices when it comes to their finances. As part of this, UniBank’s Money Matters newsletter and content hub offer tips, tricks and helpful information on everything from creating and maintaining a budget to making the most of your tax return, and finding the best online shopping deals.
In 2019, UniBank was named as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies for the fourth year in a row. This award recognises their focus on social responsibility and responsible investment initiatives, such as not lending to the fossil fuel industry.
