DOUBLE DUBS FOR UTAS 🏆🏆

With over 140 games played across five states, the 2025 New Balance University Basketball League (UBL) finished on a historic note, as @utassport took out both the men’s and women’s titles in their first ever Grand Final appearance, marking the first time a team has won the double in the UBL.

In the Men`s Grand Final, UTAS trailed USYD by 14 points through three quarters at the USYD Sports & Aquatic Centre before launching a fourth-quarter surge to claim a 79–70 victory. Meanwhile, the women dominated early against UniSC Mari at Warrane Sports Centre, building a 30-point lead and holding off a late surge to win 96–75, completing a historic sweep for Tasmania.
