Registrations Now Open for 2025 UniSport Nationals Cross Country Championship

University cross country runners will be in the starting box in Ballarat, Victoria for this year’s UniSport Nationals Cross Country Championship (Nationals Cross Country) on 23 and 24 August. Held as part of the 2025 Australian Cross Country Championships, Nationals Cross Country will be contested in men's, women's, and multi-class competitions.
This year’s championship will bring together some of Australia’s best university runners from across the country in a national event supported by Australian Athletics. Part of the Winter Series, Nationals Cross Country will include several competitions across a variety of age divisions and distances:
Open Men & Women – 10km
U20 Men – 8km
U20 Women – 6km
Multi Class Open Men & Women – 3km
Multi Class U20 Men & Women – 3km
In addition, Nationals Cross Country in 2025 will also feature a Mixed Team Relay, made up of two men and two women from each university team, running in the order male, female, male, female.

Australian Athletics CEO, Simon Hollingsworth, welcomes the inclusion of the university division.
