Led by Student Ambassador Kyle Crooks, the MyWay program at Victoria University has seen great success in providing physical activity opportunities for people in the CALD community.
Run at the Werribee campus, their latest program is attended by 22 English as a second language students, who participate in a range of weekly activities.
Kyle is embracing his role as the Victoria Uni Student Ambassador, sharing that “Throughout the program I have developed a great relationship with the students, allowing both them and myself to feel a lot more comfortable, which has helped me adapt to language barriers, get a better understanding of their capabilities, increase fun and engagement.”
