UniSport Australia and Tennis Australia are pleased to confirm that the Finals of the 2026 University Tennis League (UTL) will be held at Blacktown Tennis Centre Stanhope, Sydney from 8-10 September.
Now in its third year, the UTL provides an opportunity for university tennis players from around Australia to compete against each other in a mixed team format.
The University of Sydney (USYD) will enter the Finals as the top seed, with The University of Western Australia (UWA), The University of Queensland (UQ), Monash University, Deakin University and Adelaide University rounding out the six-teams.
Teams were seeded by UniSport and Tennis Australia based on the average Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) of their top six competing players, comprising three men and three women across singles and doubles.
USYD will be on the hunt to claim a third consecutive UTL title, having won the inaugural competition in 2024 before successfully defending its crown in 2025. UWA will be looking to improve its runner-up finish behind USYD in last year’s Finals, while UQ and Deakin return after also featuring in the 2025 Finals.
Finals will begin on Tuesday 8 September, with the semi-finals and fifth-place match taking place on Wednesday before the Gold and Bronze Medal matches on Thursday 10 September.
The final day will be livestreamed on UniSportTV.
