readLa Trobe Sport is proudly supporting students studying regionally*, with the announcement of the Regional Sport Bursary Fund. This bursary recognises the importance of balancing sport and active recreation with studies and aims to lower the barriers to access sport and active recreation services regionally.
All eligible students are encouraged to apply for a $100 contribution toward their sporting and/or active recreation pursuits. The bursary may contribute to club registration fees, team uniforms, sporting equipment, health club memberships or sport-related tuition (e.g., learn to swim).
As advocates of healthy living, La Trobe Sport encourages students already be participating in or wishing to commence organised sport and/or active recreation to apply. Students are encouraged to apply quickly, as applications will remain open until funds are exhausted.
