UniSport Australia (UniSport) has partnered with Assemble Sports to introduce a tailored sports management system designed to significantly improve the registration and event experience for member universities and student-athletes nationwide.
From this week, universities and student-athletes can use the system to register for upcoming Nationals events, including the Athletics and 3×3 Basketball National Championships.
The Assemble Sports platform has been purpose-built to meet UniSport’s dynamic, multi-sport environment, with a strong focus on delivering a mobile-friendly experience that makes registrations faster, simpler and more intuitive for students, while reducing administrative burden for member universities. The Assemble platform provides UniSport with an end-to-end solution covering team entries, participant registration, competition management, and match day operations, as well as allowing universities to manage everything from individual sports to team competitions all within a single integrated system.
Key Platform Features:
Tailored and Scalable Registration Platform: A multi-sport, multi-format registration system in one unified platform, with customisable branding for UniSport and individual member universities.
Mobile and App Access To Event Information: Mobile and app-based access gives students and team officials real-time fixtures, schedules, team lists, live scoring and player statistics in one place.
Flexible and Convenient Payment Options: Flexible payment options, including PIN payments, Apple Pay and Google Pay, allow students to complete registrations quickly and easily.
Competition Management Capabilities: Comprehensive competition management tools, including customisable draws, ladder building, official assignments and team list creation.
Customisable Dashboard and Reporting: A customisable dashboard and reporting functionality providing clear visibility across event management and reported segment data.
UniSport Australia CEO, Mark Sinderberry, spoke about how this collaboration was driven by a strong focus on improving the student experience and reducing complexity across the registration process. “This partnership with Assemble Sports represents a major advancement in how we will deliver our UniSport events. Making it easier for students to register for our events was a key priority for us, and the Assemble Sports platform delivers a faster, more intuitive and user-friendly experience for students” Mr Sinderberry said.
Assemble Sports added that the partnership supports a more flexible and connected approach to managing university sport across multiple events and formats. Luke Gooden, Managing Director at Assemble Sports, said “We understand the unique demands placed on university sport administrators who need to juggle multiple sports, each with different requirements. Our platform has been specifically designed to meet these challenges, providing the flexibility to manage diverse sports and competition formats while maintaining a simple, consistent experience for both administrators and athletes. We are excited to be working with UniSport and all participating universities and participants.”
By simplifying registrations, improving access to information and reducing administration complications, the Assemble Sports system supports a more connected and efficient process for students and universities alike, reflecting UniSport’s commitment to enhancing the member and student-athlete experience.
