University Tennis League – 2025 Finals Venue Announced

UniSport Australia and Tennis Australia are pleased to confirm that the Finals of the 2025 University Tennis League (UTL) will be held at The University of Queensland (UQ), Brisbane on September 17 and 18.

Now in its second year, the UTL provides an opportunity for university tennis players from around Australia to compete against each other in a mixed team format. Universities play in conference matches through August and September, with the winning university from each conference (four teams total) invited to participate in the Finals.

The UQ Sport Tennis Centre boasts over 20 courts and is home to several Tennis Australia endorsed tournaments and events every year. The outstanding facilities at the UQ Sport Tennis Centre made a natural choice to host the Finals.

Mark Sinderberry, UniSport Chief Executive Officer, is excited to welcome Australia’s best university tennis teams to UQ. “Together with Tennis Australia, we look forward to building on last year’s success and creating an unforgettable UTL finals that showcases the best of university tennis.”

The University of Sydney will be hungry to replicate their 2024 success, when they narrowly defeated 2025 hosts The University of Queensland at the Albert Reserve Tennis Centre, Melbourne. The University of Western Australia and Deakin University were the other finalists in 2024, but all four teams will face increased competition this year, with a record 12 universities represented.
