Avondale University College

Avondale University College, founded in 1897 in New South Wales, began as a missionary training school and evolved into a vibrant Christian university. Its picturesque campus sits between the Hawkesbury River and Lake Macquarie.

Avondale offers bachelor’s and postgraduate programs in education, nursing, ministry, business and the sciences, underpinned by small-group teaching and strong community engagement. The Centre for Indigenous Research fosters partnership-driven scholarship.

Sports at Avondale centre on the Avondale Aquatic & Sports Centre, featuring a heated pool, gymnasium and multi-use courts. The Hawks Sporting Club fields teams in basketball, netball and soccer, and intramural events bring students together across campus.
