University of the Sunshine Coast

University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC), established in 1996, is Queensland’s fastest-growing university. Its main Sippy Downs campus, set on 100 hectares of bushland, serves more than 20,000 students and embraces sustainable campus design.

UniSC excels in environmental science, health, education and business. The Sunshine Coast Health Institute and the Centre for Sustainable Communities underpin research in tropical ecology, public health and regional development.

UniSC Sport & Fitness facilities include the UniSC Aquatic & Fitness Centre with 50m and learn-to-swim pools, indoor courts and a gym. The Husky Sports Park offers synthetic fields and a running track, while more than 25 clubs—from touch football to rowing—bring students together in sport and recreation.
