Victoria University (VU), established in 1990 from a consolidation of technical and tertiary colleges dating back to 1916, offers a multi-campus and TAFE integration model across Melbourne’s west. VU serves over 40,000 students with vocational and higher-education pathways.

VU is recognised for its applied learning in sports science, business, education and health. The VU Tech School, the Centre for Sport Research and Link Health and Community exemplify its commitment to work-integrated learning and community partnerships.

VU Sport & Recreation’s Footscray Park Campus Sporting Precinct includes indoor courts, a fitness centre and athletics track. The St Albans campus offers a gym and multi-purpose courts, while more than 30 clubs—from football codes to martial arts—compete in regional and national competitions.
