In 2024, the FISU 3x3 University World Cup will be contested in both men's and women's events from 22-24 November in Xiamen, China.

At the 2024 FISU Oceania Continental Qualifying Tournament held in conjunction with the UniSport Nationals 3x3 Basketball competition on the Sunshine Coast, The University of Sydney women won gold and will represent Oceania at the University World Cup in November.
