RISE eLearning: Leading the prevention of gender-based violence in University sporting clubs

RISE stands for Respect, Inclusion, Safety & Equality.

UniSport has commissioned Our Watch Institute, Australia’s national leader in the primary prevention of violence against women, to develop a dedicated online learning module. The module translates Our Watch’s evidence-based primary prevention approach into content designed specifically for university sport, covering topics such as bystander action, respectful relationships and safe event culture.

The module has been specifically designed for university club volunteers and will complement UniSport’s existing pre-event briefings and Good Practice Guidelines.
