Deakin – Lacrosse Together program
AboutFree all-genders and abilities event to develop lacrosse skills while providing an opportunity to socialise and have fun in a light-hearted setting accompanied by some great music and complimentary food.

Status/outcomesO-Fest Come and Try: 11/27 who registered came, total of 38 (27 walk ins because it looked awesome!)
UBelong Week: 12/21 who registered came, total of 25 (13 walk ins)
This then led to these participants being invited to trial for the intervarsity team.
Trials: 18 filled out the EOI, roughly 15 attended
Trainings: 6-10
Final team: 14!! Biggest team in Victoria!
ECU – Inclusive club initiatives
AboutECU and West Perth Football Club collaboration aims to bring education, sport and community together through a shared commitment to increasing educational aspirations and creating inclusive communities. Focused on inclusive club initiatives related to low SES student aspiration to higher education, anti-racism and LGBTIQ+ inclusion.

Status/outcomes5 year partnership in place with Pride Round focus in year one and ongoing initiatives to focus on engaging with low SES student aspirations for 2026 and anti-racism.
La Trobe – Club funding for inclusion programs
AboutAll 25 affiliated sports clubs at LTU can apply for up to $1,000 in funding to support an inclusion program that targets a vulnerable or underprivileged student demographic.

Status/outcomesWe have had two clubs successfully apply for this grant, programs are:
– Female only snow trip to Buller (Snowsports club)
– Beginner scrim and on-ice games: celebrating LGBTIQ+ people in ice sports (Ice Sports club)
Monash Sport – Sport at Monash EDI Action Plan 2025-2027
AboutLaunched the Sport at Monash EDI Action Plan 2025-2027 at the start of the year.

UTAS – Non traditional sport offerings for all (HYPE program)
AboutDeliver the HYPE program, which introduces exciting opportunities outside of traditional sports and emphasises inclusivity and accessibility for all participants.
Through participation, students not only improve their physical health but also develop self-confidence and resilience. The program’s supportive and welcoming environment encourages connection, helping students build lasting friendships and social networks that enhance their university experience.
HYPE events are delivered in collaboration with UTAS Sport, campus accommodation, and the Tasmanian University Students Union.
